After two hugely successful events in the West Hall of Olympia with around 10,000 visitors in each of 2013 and 2014, we return to arguably one of the nation’s best exhibition venues this year in the Central Hall (Levels 1 & 3). This new hall has full conference facilities, room for plenty of seating and enclosed talks rooms, which will undoubtedly contribute to high-quality acoustics and an enhanced visitors experience.
VegfestUK holds masses of appeal not only to committed vegans, veggies, meat reducers and health seekers but also people just looking for a top day out stuffed with sumptuous cuisines. Foodies and shopaholics will not want to miss the 200 stalls and 14 caterers on offer, including Olympia’s in-house caterers Levy’s who’re kindly doing up a specially designed vegan menu for our visitors at this event.
Those dipping into health will be spoiled by dozens of talks, workshops and discussions at the People’s Vegan Health Summit on the Saturday, whereas those looking to influence others in changing to a more ethical, compassionate lifestyle will find plenty of inspirations from the People’s Vegan Activists Summit on the Sunday.
There are also stacks of cookery demos and living raw food demos to give you the culinary inspirations you need to kickstart your vegan journey, as well as a dozen of talks on vegan living, a bodybuilding contest, comedy hours and music. Families with kids will enjoy a series of magic shows and cookery classes from the Kids Area, in addition to a Teen VGN Zone for young vegans and veggies to get together, and a Mature Zone with plenty of seating and further talks on vegan lifestyles for those in their advanced years.
A series of ethical businesses are kindly throwing their weight behind this year’s VegfestUK London. They include: Czech raw food producers Lifefood, vegan chocolate maestros Moo Free Chocolates, eco-friendly and cruelty-free bodycare firm JASON Natural Care, vegan cheese makers Bute Island Foods, dairy-free milk company Provamel, producers of health appliances Tribest, kings of natural vegan snack bars Nakd Wholefoods, producers of vegan chocolate and mayo Plamil Foods, ethical wholesalers Suma Wholefoods and Essential Trading Co-operative, vegan-run PR firms Excellart and VeggieVision, the UK’s first hemp company Yaoh and eco-print and design firm Out of Hand.
