If you're thinking that vegan foods are dull and lifeless, VegfestUK London is going to prove you spectacularly wrong. This annual celebration of the very best of vegan products and lifestyle features 14 top-notch caterers and nearly 200 other stalls with specialist global cuisines which even the most ardent meat and dairy lovers will be hard pushed to turn down.

These cuisines begin with freshly fried pad thais from Thai street food caterers Bangwok, who have been a constant fixture of VegfestUK events for the past year and have always attracted legions of visitors keen to get a taste of their legendary fried noodles with shiitake mushrooms.

Following the Asian thread is the Hungry Gecko who serve gourmet Asian street food from their iconic trailer Barbarella. Their menus are inspired by a variety of regional Asian dishes and street food, from the Himalayas to the far corners of East Asia, to create something exciting and delicious!

Those who adore Chinese cuisine must visit the Gillie Food stall, at which a range of delicious stir-fries and vegan soy jerkies will be available. Menu includes Chinese curries, tofus, noodles, spring rolls and others.

Sushi lovers will definitely not want to miss the gorgeous van, team and sushis from Happy Maki, firm favourites of VegfestUK visitors ever since their inception into the events a year ago. Their team are super-lovely and so are their delectable vegan sushi wraps, with ingredients ranging from tofu and sweet potatoes to cucumbers and avocados, all soaked under some amazing sauces bringing out the very best flavours of plant-based ingredients.

The Sunshine Kitchen will showcase 3 varieties of their superb vegan burgers which provide meat burger afficionados with that much needed meaty texture and flavours that they crave so much. Gluten free options available too.

Bakeries have traditionally been in the same sentence as dairy and eggs, but as Global Fusion will demonstrate, this no longer needs to be the case. Global Fusion believe that all people should be able to enjoy tasty well prepared food from the wonderful world of Creole home cooking. After all Creole is a fusion of some of the best cooking from around the world.

Sweet tooths will be absolutely spoiled by the heavenly savouries from Nectar Foods, whose team have been veggies for over 20 years and have a history of catering at events from the Glastonbury Festival to weddings. Their range include both raw and cooked sweet treats.

Disciples of Caribbean and Ital foods will love the stews served up by St Best Caribbean Caterers and Michael's Caribbean Storehouse. These guys reproduce the authentic taste of the Caribbean in a range of delicious vegan dishes based on traditional Jamaican recipes. Visitors also have the chance to try the fabulous Vegibabs, Veggie patties and salad platters from Afro-Caribbean caterers Brownins.

If you're into raw vegan foods, you won't be left out at all as Rainforest Creations are going to satisfy all your raw taste buds with their amazing range of raw unprocessed foods, including raw falafels, raw cakes, sprouts and a lot more!

If you're missing your ice lollies on a vegan diet, make sure to pop along to Pop Cycle, a lovely outfit who'll be travelling all the way from Swansea to serve up their refreshing vegan lollies, made up of healthy ingredients such as beetroots and carrots.

Other caterers to look out for include Pomegranate Lebanese cuisine (with their lovely baklavas and other Middle Eastern cuisines), Rupert's Street (established London-based vegan caterer), Fresh Rootz (with a globally inspired menu) and the Honest Carrot (with a range of homemade vegetable balls and fresh houmous).

Plus, if you're into snacking, Vegan Tuck Box subscriptions are just right for you! The Vegan Starter Box (launching at London Vegfest by Vegan Tuck Box) is perfect for anyone thinking about trying a vegan diet. It contains some of the essentials, such as mayo and Provamel milk, as well as some naughty treats to try like Vego chocolate bar and Ten Acre cheese and onion crisps.
