Aldo Zilli promises to 'GO VEGAN' for 90 days with Tim from VegfestUK

One of the UK’s leading chefs, Aldo Zilli today pledged to go vegan for at least 90 days whilst chatting to Tim Barford on his radio show, after listening to Tim explain a bit about the ethical approach to being vegan.

With a huge knowledge of food already of course, Aldo was familiar with some of the health benefits of a plant based diet – but on hearing some of the ethical and moral arguments for going vegan, the results were dramatic.

I’m, going vegan for 90 days minimum,’ declared Aldo with some gusto, after praising Tim for his massive energy levels especially!

‘I know Aldo a bit from his recipes in The Sun,’ said Tim, ‘and he is a really lovely fella – very nice guy, and very receptive to the vegan thing! It was joy to see someone so well known for his love of food, respond so positively to the vegan option. Credit due. And Aldo wants to come to VegfestUK too! most excellent. As well as going vegan for 90 days....awesome news.’’

‘’Aldo can have a big influence,’ Tim added...’’Aldo really took on board the cruelty aspect that eating meat and dairy and eggs brings with it – and if he goes vegan and starts educating people about the joys of cruelty free options, it could be huge. Imagine The Sun with loads of vegan recipes! Massive!’’
